Linda has 45 years of in-depth knowledge and history of Florida’s Higher Education budgets and substantive policy covering Florida State University System institutions, Florida private institutions, State Colleges, Student Financial Aid programs, and Public Education Capital Outlay (PECO) funding.  During this time, Linda worked for two of Florida’s Governors, with the Florida Board of Regents, in addition to eighteen years with the Education Subcommittee of the Florida Senate Appropriations Committee.

Linda has worked with UF’s Office of Government Relations for the past eighteen years.  She provides analytical and policy support for the Vice President- Government and Community Relations, the Director-Government Relations, and other government relations team members. 

Linda has a B.S. in Business degree, with a major in accounting.  Her detailed knowledge of K-20 education budget and statutory provisions over 45 years, facilitates her ability to serve as a liaison and asset between UF Government and Community Relations and UF’s President, Senior Vice Presidents and Vice Presidents, and staff, with the Board of Governors and their staff, with the Legislature and their staff, and with key staff at the other state universities. 

She has two grown children, and five grandsons hoping to attend one of Florida’s premier universities.
