Lesa is the new Community Relations Specialist in the Office of Government and Community Relations. Her focus is event management and logistics, project management, and constituent and community requests. She worked in the UF Office of the Provost and Office of Advancement with donors, external stakeholders, and the community as Guest Services Specialist. She also has served as a First Year Florida instructor and University Multicultural Mentor. She has over thirty years of experience in Education which includes working in Student Affairs at Nova Southeastern University and the district office at the School Board of Broward County. She has 25+ years of volunteer experience with Take Stock in Children in Alachua and Broward counties.
Originally from New Jersey, Lesa graduated from Nova Southeastern University with a major Business Administration and Broward College with a major in Communications. She enjoys singing, emceeing at various events, and serving foster care children .
