Assistant Director,
Government Relations

Jenni Henderson Morris is the new Assistant Director of Government Relations for the University of Florida. 

Prior to joining UF, Jenni spent over 15 years in the healthcare sector, working for both profit and not-for-profit healthcare systems in a marketing and business development capacity.  The majority of her 15 years was spent working for HCA as the Director of Provider Relations for Capital Regional Medical Center, collaborating with surgeons, specialists, primary care physicians, and other key stakeholders with the primary focus of business growth for the hospital.

Before working for HCA, Jenni was the Marketing and PR Manager for Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare, where she directed and managed marketing, communications, branding, special events, and advertising initiatives for the hospital.  Jenni came into the position with several years of marketing managing experience with not-for-profit and small business organizations.  Prior to returning to her hometown of Tallahassee in 2003, Jenni was in Atlanta, GA, and worked for a decade in the IT industry in various business development roles.

Jenni graduated from Clemson University with a major in Communications.  Jenni resides in Tallahassee and has a daughter who attends UF.  Jenni is an active member at St. John’s Episcopal Church and is an ambassador for the annual Word of South festival held in Tallahassee.   In her spare time, she enjoys yoga, walks in the park, cultural events and spending quality time with family and friends.
