Chuck Clemons serves as Vice President for Government and Community Relations at the University of Florida, where he leads efforts to strengthen relationships with local, state, and federal government entities, as well as community organizations throughout Florida. A longtime public servant and advocate for higher education, Clemons brings decades of experience in legislative affairs, economic development, and public policy.
Prior to joining UF, Clemons served in the Florida House of Representatives, where he held leadership roles including Speaker Pro Tempore. His career also includes service in higher education administration and business development. A UF alumnus, Clemons is deeply committed to advancing the university’s land-grant mission and enhancing its impact across the state.
