Supporting Our Community Together: The UF Campaign for Charities
Each fall, the University of Florida comes together to support the UF Campaign for Charities (UFCC)—a university-wide initiative that raises funds for local nonprofit organizations dedicated to health and human services in Gainesville and surrounding communities. Through convenient giving options like payroll deduction, credit card, check, cash, and stock transfer, UF employees can make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
Since 1993, the UFCC has contributed nearly $29 million to area nonprofits, supporting a wide range of essential services including child care, mental health counseling, legal aid, environmental protection, disease prevention, and medical care. Many of these organizations also partner with UF on research initiatives that seek to cure diseases and improve quality of life. With such a wide-reaching impact, chances are these efforts have touched you or someone you know.
