Victoria Price, Assistant Director for the University of Florida Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences, alongside Mary Ann Gosa-Hooks at the office of governmental affairs. She helps monitor legislative issues that affect UF/IFAS and related industries. Victoria develops and implements strategies designed to build governmental partnerships stimulating funding opportunities, fostering innovation, and increasing capacity for UF/IFAS. She also manages and coordinates the UF/IFAS Council on Agriculture, Research, Extension and Teaching (CARET).
Victoria previous worked with UF/IFAS Global as the communications coordinator for the department and on USAID project in Haiti Appui à la Recherche et au Développement Agricole project (AREA). She interned with AgCareers.com and Osborn Barr Advertising Agency, where she found her passion for the agriculture and natural resource industry.
Victoria earned her Bachelors of Sciences in public relations and minor in agricultural and natural resources ethics and policy from the University of Florida. While at UF, she worked within UF Admissions, was actively involved on campus and remains an active member of Florida Blue Key.
